Mercer Blackwell is an entertainer based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. He performs professionally as a Bizarrist, which is someone who’s studied sideshow, magic, & esoteric arts and brings what he’s learned to audiences.

Above all, audiences can expect a fun, exciting, sometimes hair-raising show as they watch (and help!) Mercer swallow swords, write with both hands, escape straightjackets, paint pictures within his stomach, and more. This is an interactive show where mercer brings esoteric arts and one-in-a-million skills to the stage for your enjoyment.
What kind of shows does Mercer do?
Mercer performs three shows with event planners in mind–
30-minute stage show. An exciting, professional stage show for audiences from 10-100. This show includes everything Mercer has to offer and is perfect for an event’s main entertainment.
Strolling Bizarrist. Mercer has curated select, closeup material for small groups or one-on-one performances. Strolling shows fit right in for cocktail parties or events where mingling is the name of the game.
Platform show. A repeatable showcase with the most bizarre acts Mercer has to offer, all on a personal, highly visible stage. This show is great as an attraction where there’s heavy foot traffic.
